MCV has been awarded with an EMAS prize for their ten years executing successfully the EMAS registration.

MCV has designed a new head for the capture of airborne particles smaller than 1 µm. This head works with high-volum sampler at 30 m³/h. This is an experimental head because there is no reference standard.

Head PM1-CAV

MCV has participated as an exhibitor at the Current Future Air Quality Monitoring organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry in London, where MCV had the opportunity to present their new head PM1-CAV.

MCV has reached an agreement with one of the world's leading manufactures of filters in order to market, in OEM conditions with MCV brand, glass and quarts microfiber filters to collect particles with high volume samplers.

In September of 2009 has achieved  the accreditation for the realization of calibration in the Chemical area: Concentration of gases (Calibration in permanent laboratory and in situ) with the number 175/LC498. MCV is accredited for the calibration of CO, NO, SO₂ and O₃.

MCV has built a mobile unit for measurement and analysis of the atmospheric pollution for the Agency of Public Health, instrumented with automatic analyzer for the measure of NO_x, CO, O₃, particles PM₁₀, meteorology and sampler of volatile organic compounds.

MCV has built a mobile unit of mesure and analysis of the atmospheric pollution for Diputació of Barcelona, instrumented with automatic analyzer for the measurement of NO_x, O₃, automatic spectrometer for BTx, particles PM₁₀, meteorology, high volum automatic sampler for PM₁₀ and other for PM_2,5.

The meteorological radar of Tivissa-Llaveria, property of the Servei Meteorològic of Catalonia, started to work the september 4th of 2008. The radar is the model EXTOP-03 of MCV, it is a Doppler type wich operates in C band. The equipment and the installation have been provided by , MCV who will continue with the mantinence of the radar network from which this one belongs.
